Christmas Card Club # 7 - Feature A Creature

Good morning , although it's perhaps not so good really.  Where has spring gone? It's the first day of British Summertime and it's like winter.  I think the north of England and Scotland are forecast to have it pretty rough unfortunately. The right weather to be showing a Christmas card ... lol!

Well Maureen chose our topic today and as you can see, she asked us to use a "critter", or more than one, on our card this time.  I have a polar bear and a baby penguin in my image.  I am trying to keep the majority of my Christmas cards flat and so everything is glued down and nothing raised on foam tape.

My Card

Recipe
15 cms square base card - Rymans
Dark blue card - very old from my stash
Snowflake Lattice e/f - Creative Expressions
Starburst Die - Joanna Sheen Signature die
Decorative Labels One - Spellbinders
Image - LOTV topper
Star gems - very old from my stash

A very easy card because if I am to be perfectly honest the days ran away with me and I had to make this very quickly last night. Photo taken with flash because it was late and dark, so not the best but I'm sure you get the idea.

Take card and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Lovely Christmas card Christine.
Our weather has changed here and we hit 32 degrees yesterday so the BBQ is out now for the summer and will be lit later today. xxx

Brrrr! It really does look so frosty with the image theme, the colors used. Always admire the LOTV images, and the die shape on this one is so pretty. The silvery star flourish is in keeping with the frost theme as well. Doesn't look fast & smart idea to keep the flat surface to ease the postage woes. Great card, Miss Christine. Hope your weather gets better. It's beautiful here in Florida, but a friend told me our home area was set to get a freeze last night. Should be the last of our winter. We have a friend from Massachusetts with us, and his home area got snow yesterday. Ugh. I'm enjoying the warm sunshine! TFS & Hugs
